Public Speaking - Intro

A good content of a speech should focus on:
a. Speech structure
  1. Main premise: Choose your position/opinion
  2. Major support: Give general reasons
  3. Minor support: Provide example, data, personal experiences
※Everyone might have the same main premise & major support. Provide good minor support can make your story special.
※Follow the “magic three”: Just use three major supports.
  4. Conclusion
b. Speech clarity
Your writing style should make your points clear.

c. Speech variety
Don’t use the same structure in every sentence. Restatement or use different grammar.

d. Correct grammar
Audiences would focus on the wrong grammar and ignore what your content is.

e. Use of rhetorical devices (看到這個字眼又喚起GMAT的記憶...)
Let your sentence more powerful, easily to remember, more convincing. (待確)
